Q2 2024 Android Fitness & Weight Loss Apps Performance in the US

In the second quarter of 2024, the Android fitness and weight loss category has seen interesting trends in user engagement and downloads. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at how these apps are performing in the US market.

Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) experienced fluctuating downloads throughout the quarter, starting at approximately 22K and peaking at 28K before settling around 22K again. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 337K in the first week to 316K, then stabilized to close the quarter with 325K active users.

Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner saw its revenue range from $527 to $755, with downloads beginning at 15K, spiking at 21K mid-quarter, and then descending to approximately 11K. Active user count hovered around the 200K-225K range throughout the quarter.

For Step Counter - Pedometer, revenue was minimal, with the highest at $44 in the final week and the lowest at $14. Downloads started at 11K, dipped to 9K, and rose back up to 14K, while weekly active users ranged from 41K to nearly 50K, indicating consistent engagement.

Lastly, Macadam - Walk And Earn had a steady start with downloads at 14K, but experienced a decline to 5K by the quarter's end. Despite this, weekly active users saw an initial decrease from 140K to 136K but later surged to 150K before ending at 139K.
